Publication Ethics
The Instabright International Journal of Education and Social Sciences (IIJESS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, responsible research, and ethical scholarly publishing.
The journal expects authors, reviewers, editors, and other participants in the publication process to uphold principles of honesty, transparency, accountability, fairness, and respect.
1. Research Integrity
Authors must report their research honestly and accurately. Fabrication, falsification, manipulation of data, and intentional misrepresentation of research findings are prohibited.
2. Originality and Plagiarism
All submitted manuscripts must be original.
IIJESS conducts plagiarism and similarity checks on submitted manuscripts. The journal's acceptable similarity threshold is not more than 15% overall, with no single source exceeding 5%.

All listed authors should approve the final version of the manuscript and accept responsibility for their contribution.
5. Conflicts of Interest

Editors must not handle manuscripts where they have a direct relationship with the authors or competing professional or financial interests.
6. Ethical Treatment of Participants
Research involving human participants, institutions, or sensitive information must comply with appropriate ethical requirements.
Authors must ensure the protection and anonymity of research participants where applicable.
7. Peer Review Ethics
Reviewers are expected to:
- Maintain confidentiality;
- Provide objective and constructive evaluations;
- Evaluate manuscripts based on scholarly merit;

- Complete reviews within the required period.
Reviewers must not use unpublished information obtained through the review process for personal advantage. The IIJESS reviewer guidelines emphasize objectivity, confidentiality, timely feedback, and conflict-of-interest disclosure.
8. Editorial Ethics
Editors are responsible for maintaining fair, unbiased, and consistent editorial decisions.
Editors must protect the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and ensure that manuscripts are evaluated according to established journal standards.
9. Corrections and Retractions
If significant errors or ethical violations are discovered after publication, IIJESS may require corrections or take appropriate action, including retraction where warranted.
In cases of serious plagiarism or research misconduct, the journal may reject the manuscript, retract the article, or restrict future submissions.
