Author’s Liabilities

Authors submitting manuscripts to the Instabright International Journal of Education and Social Sciences (IIJESS) are responsible for ensuring that their submissions comply with the journal's academic, ethical, and publication requirements.

By submitting a manuscript, authors acknowledge and agree to the following responsibilities:

1. Originality

Authors must submit original work that has not been previously published and is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal.

2. Authorship

All individuals listed as authors must have made significant contributions to the research and must approve the final manuscript.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that the authorship information submitted to IIJESS is accurate.

3. Accuracy of Information

Authors are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the information, data, findings, interpretations, and references presented in their manuscript.

Fabrication or falsification of research data is prohibited.

4. Ethical Compliance

Authors must ensure that research involving human participants, institutions, or sensitive information complies with applicable ethical requirements.

Participants' identities and confidential information must be appropriately protected.

5. Plagiarism

Authors must ensure that all borrowed ideas, statements, data, and materials are properly acknowledged and cited.

IIJESS considers copying without citation, improper paraphrasing, duplicate submission, undisclosed self-plagiarism, fabrication, and falsification as violations of publication ethics.

6. Similarity Requirements

Submitted manuscripts should comply with the journal's similarity requirements:

  • Overall similarity: not more than 15%
  • Similarity from a single source: not more than 5%

7. Disclosure of Funding

Authors must disclose relevant funding sources supporting the research or manuscript.

8. Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest that may affect the research or its publication.

9. Data Transparency

Authors may be required to provide supporting or raw data for purposes of verification when reasonably requested by the Editorial Team.

10. Copyright

Authors retain copyright of their work but grant IIJESS the right to publish and disseminate the article in accordance with the journal's open-access policy.

11. Corrections and Retractions

Authors are expected to cooperate with the journal if significant errors, ethical concerns, or issues affecting the reliability of a published article are identified.

Where serious violations are established, IIJESS may retract a published article or restrict future submissions in accordance with its policies.
